hopes can be its own version of “Game of Thrones.” Rosamund Pike stars as Moraine, a member of magical society who leads five young villagers on a journey to discover if one of them is the reincarnated Dragon, who has been prophesized to save humanity. The sprawling epic reportedly had a budget of $10 million per episode, and it’s already been renewed for a second season.

There’s also “Tampa Baes” (Nov. 5), an eight-episode docuseries about a group of lesbian friends in Florida; “The Electrical Life of Louis Wain” (Nov. 5), the true story of an eccentric British artist, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Claire Foy; Season 3 of the action series “Hanna” (Nov. 24), as the bioengineered young assassin (Esmé Creed-Miles) teams up with her former nemesis (Mireille Enos) to bring down the clandestine program that created her; the new docuseries “Always Jane” (Nov. 12), about a transgender girl in rural New Jersey; the documentary “Mayor Pete” (Nov. 12), about Pete Buttigieg’s presidential bid; new episodes of the kids’ show “Pete the Cat” (Nov. 5); and a trio of Thursday-night NFL games (Nov. 4, 11 and 18).
